Project Summary

"Survey Of India" is a mobile application that is going to be developed for conducting survey across various parts of India in the field such as Agriculture, Politics, Product, Industry, Education etc... This application provides the facility to various organization or individual to conduct survey. In order to conduct survey they need to first register on the website. Once administrator approve their registration request they can define various criteria for their survey. People can participate in the survey by giving their opinions and finally the result of survey is published on website as well as on mobile application. So that organization or individuals can comes to know that what people wants from their side. The idea behind development of this application is to eliminate the role of survey agencies that charges large amount of money to the organizations or individuals who wants to conduct survey. Using this application person can easily gather the review about their services and products. So that they can improve the quality of their services or functionality of their products. Thus "Survey Of India" is a mobile application which provides efficient and effective solution to the organizations and individuals to conduct survey and improve their performance.

Purpose: Goals & Objectives

The primary goal of “Survey Of India” application is to provide a mobile application using which various organizations or individuals can conduct their survey and based on the result and opinion given by people they can improve the quality of their services and products. The other goal of our application is to reduce the burden from the organizations and individuals who paid lots of money to survey agencies for conducting survey.

The mobile application “Survey Of India” can be used by all the industries, organization and individuals from various fields such as Agriculture, Production, Medical, Politics. This application can be used by all the industries, organization and individuals for conducting survey about their services and product quality. It will be helpful to them to improve the quality of their service and products.

STUDY OF CURRENT SYSTEM

Existing System is manual. If someone wants to take survey on particular topic they have to contact survey agencies. Survey Agencies gather information from them and prepare a form which contains various survey criteria. Survey Agencies send various person in the different area and they collect opinion from people by filling form. Thus the process becomes very time consuming. Finally Survey Agencies collects forms filled up by people and prepare a detailed reports on survey criteria and determines what people wants. The preparation of result is very complex and time consuming. Survey Agencies also charge large amount to the company or person who wants to conduct such kind of survey.

PROBLEM AND WEAKNESSES OF CURRENT SYSTEM

After the study of existing system we found following drawbacks in existing system.
(1) Existing System is Manual.
(2) Anyone who wants to conduct survey must have to consult survey agencies.
(3) Existing System is costly because survey agencies charge large amount in order to conduct survey and prepare report.
(4) Existing System is time consuming because survey agencies prepare form and send their employee in different area to conduct survey.
(5) Instant result of survey is not possible because it takes so much time to collect all the forms and analyze that forms.

REQUIREMENTS OF NEW SYSTEM

As there are lots of drawbacks of Existing System, we decide to develop a new system that can be easily operated using smart phone. Proposed system will eliminate the role of Survey Agencies. Anyone who wants to conduct survey has to just register on the website and generate a survey form that contains survey criteria. Once Survey form is prepared it is announced on the website as well as on mobile application. People can open the application on their mobile and provide their response through application. Hence the system is online result of the survey is automatically prepared within few time.

ADVANTAGES OF NEW SYSTEM

Proposed System offers following advantages:
(1) Proposed System is online.
(2) It can be easily operated using smart devices such as smart phone or tablet.
(3) It is available at free of cost.
(4) It will eliminate the need of Survey Agencies. So there is no need to pay large amount to them in order to conduct survey.
(5) Survey can be conducted very fast.
(6) Results can be prepared instantly.

MAIN MODULES OF NEW SYSTEM

There are three types of modules in this system
(1) Administrator
(2) Company
(3) People or Customer
(1) Administrator:

• Manage User: Administrator can manage various users who can login to the system. Administrator can create new user, edit existing user and delete user.
• Manage Category: Administrator can manage various Categories of Survey Fields such as agriculture, medical, education, politics etc... Administrator can create new category, edit existing category and delete Category.
• Manage Sub Category: Administrator can manage various Sub Categories of Survey Fields such as agriculture, medical, education, politics etc... Administrator can create new Sub category, edit existing Sub category and delete Sub Category.
• Manage Company: Administrator can view the registration request of various companies and approve or reject their registration request.
• View Survey and Their Results: Administrator can view various survey and their criteria posted by companies and view the result of survey.

(2) Company

• Registration: Company need to register on the website in order to conduct survey. Once administrator approve their request they can conduct survey.
• Login: Company has to login to the system in order to conduct survey and view the result.
• Conduct Survey: Company can conduct survey by specifying various survey criteria.
• View Results: Company can view the result of survey.

(3) People or Customer

• View Survey: People or Customer can view various survey posted by companies.
• Participate in Survey: Customer or people can participate in survey by giving their opinion about various survey criteria.
• View Results: People or Customer can view the result of various conducted survey and view what action taken by the company based on the survey.
